i wanted to like this movie so much. i love amy adams. i crushed on matthew goode hard the moment that i laid eyes on him in chasing liberty. (another perfectly horrible romantic comedy btw.) but it has every single cliche in the book: a forced (read:mistletoe) first kiss, wedding-crazed american girl, mud sliding, rain-drenched american girl, shower peeking, blackberry-crazed american girl, cars breaking down... you name it. ok, i'll probably watch it and enjoy the hell out of it.
this feels so pertinent i can't describe the feeling. mcsweeney's, you are certified funny. college project meetings are exactly like this.
